Sage Brush

It’s twisted trunks, mangled and rugged. For it does not bow to water. It is neighbors with the rabbit brush and the juniper, settled in sandy soils.

Artemisia tridentata Is resilient and strong. Withstanding the desert sun and dryness. Bitter to whoever tries to harm it.

May we live like the Sage Brush. Resilient. Strong. And bitter when we need to be. Here in the west, she drapes her beauty into the landscape.
